Itinerary (Approx. 9 Hours)

Early Morning Departure
At 04:30 A.M., your private Egyptologist guide will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan. Enjoy a scenic three-hour drive through the desert in a modern, air-conditioned coach.

Explore Abu Simbel
Upon arrival, step into history at the awe-inspiring temples built by Pharaoh Ramses II in the 13th century BC.

  • The Great Temple (Sun Temple): Admire the four colossal seated statues of Ramses II and explore the inner sanctuaries dedicated to the pharaoh and four gods.

  • Temple of Nefertari (Temple of Hathor): Visit the smaller yet equally stunning temple, built in honor of Queen Nefertari, showcasing exquisite reliefs and artistry.

Your Egyptologist guide will explain the temples’ history, symbolism, and the remarkable UNESCO project that relocated them to higher ground to save them from flooding after the construction of the High Dam.
