Our expert tour guide will pick you up from your stay in Aswan and drive about a three hours journey south of Aswan.
The two Temples of Abu Simbel, carved into massive rock formations on the banks of Lake Nasser, are considered to be the most spectacular monuments of ancient Egypt.
The Egyptian government and UNESCO have cooperated in order to save these temples from the flood, by carefully relocated them in the 1960’s to higher ground. Still, the Temple of Ramses II is as impressive and awe-inspiring as it was meant to be in its conception.
Spend around 3 hours exploring the site before heading back to Aswan.
